Course Description:

This 1.5-day course is designed to educate Neurosurgeons
on the principles of deformity correction, from basic
degenerative to complex cases. This course includes lecture,
hands-on workshops and case review.

Course Goals & Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants should 
be able to:

  • Classify Adult Scoliosis and distinguish classification models
  • Complete radiographic measurement for fusion level selection
  • Indicate pedicle anatomy for screw insertion
  • Apply three-dimensional correction techniques; reduction, translation and de-rotation
  • Discuss the use of osteotomies



Audience

  • Neurosurgeons 1-5 years in practice

                 *Spine fellows in a deformity program may apply

  • Spine surgeons treating more than 20 Scoliosis patients per year
